I'll give a contrarian viewpoint to the negative stuff posted here. A friend of mine finished in the top 10 last year on the USPGT and is playing it again this year. I saw him last Saturday and asked him specifically about the negative press the USPGT is getting. He wasn't worried one bit and said that as far as he knew everything was a go for this year.

In fact, he pointed out that the USPGT has already conducted 5 different ranking tournaments. Granted my friend didn't have to attend one since he finished top 10 last year, but if the tour is conducting ranking tournaments, my guess is that they are going to have a full schedule this year.

Before we speculate and offer negative press, let's see how things unfold over the next couple of weeks. The first event is set to start March 15 in Texas. If that event doesn't happen, or players don't get paid what they've won, then we can post all the negative stuff we want. I'll be one of the people at the front of the line if this happens because it will affect someone I know personally.

the web site is usprogolftour.com and on the postive side we hosted an event last year and the talent is very good. The tour took forever to pay the course and also heard from several players that they drag thier feet sending winnings out. For what its worth.

more bad news... they cant even afford to audit themselves for their SEC filings and annual report.

http://www.usprogolftour.com/USPGT_News_Se...20Suspended.htm

Also notice on the homepage: http://www.usprogolftour.com that they removed all the schedules replacing them with "All 2007 events suspended"

GOLFWEEK posted this today: http://www.golfweek.com/pro/pro_other/292323096314139.php

Greens Worldwide Incorporated Continues Suspension of Schedules

April 12, 2007 – Orlando, FL: Greens Worldwide Incorporated (Stock symbol GRWW), announced today that the schedules for the U.S. Pro Golf Tour, Tight lies Series, and California Series, wholly-owned subsidiaries of Greens, will remain suspended and will not resume until financing is secured. “We are working around the clock and exhausting every possibility to garner the necessary financing to continue as planned,†said Bill Conwell, CEO/President, Greens Worldwide Incorporated. “While we certainly understand the hardship this places on players, along with the various communities around the country expecting to benefit from hosting professional golf tournaments, we do not have the necessary cash resources to operate tournaments, honor our player refund obligations, or pay our other outstanding payables. Our absolute hope is to obtain the long-term financing required to bring stability to the Company and then resume a modified 2007 schedule.â€

While some tournament dates may be rescheduled, the NTG Classic, slated for April 26-29 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has been cancelled, and will not be included on the 2007 schedule.

The Company also announces that it will not be in a position to timely file its Annual Report on Form 10-K/SB by April 17, 2007 until the Company obtains the necessary funding, including the cost of the report and accompanying audit.

Up-to-the-minute updates will be available on the U.S. Pro Golf Tour’s website, www.usprogolftour.com.

This IS the exact same thing that happened in 1986-87'......in fact, the SAME crooked a-hole, Tom Kidd.......amazing that he can materialize after 20 years and do the exact same thing and nobody said anything......I told my "guy's" NOT to send them a damn thing or, if they did, consider it "disposable" money.......in the 86' deal Kidd did the EXACT same thing......owed me over 3 grand.......and guy's like Clearwater (108k) and Chamblee (38k if memory serves me) and many others a TON of $$$$$........more than likely this deal IS dead......the numbers do NOT add up........the corporate dollars are NOT there......at least in the long term........I simply cannot believe that Kidd is going to get away with this for a 2nd time.......dream up and advertise the "fantasy tour" for aspiring professionals then fleece them........but EXACTLY what I predicted about 8 months or so ago has occurred........again........sad, sorry state of affairs........

Rumor is the Tight Lies Tour original owner will be working hard to recreate the tour for this summer.

Former New England Pro Golf Tour owner has already recreated a tour: http://www.naprogolftour.com

I just pray that the players will get their money back as greens worldwide promised when they started signing people up for this season. Otherwise some players are going to have a hard time even paying the entry fees for other tours.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
