I seem to be always looking for new clubs even if the ones I have are alright. I am getting monthly lessons and play is getting much better and I keep looking at new woods even though mine are not too bad (mizuno mp-001) and now that someone has offered to buy my mizuno I don't know what to do. I really want new clubs but I sort of feel bad about ditching a driver if it has nothing wrong with it. Looking at titleist 905t. What would you do keep it or get a new club?

Sorry for going on a bit.

i have this problem,Mainly with drivers.I advise you to stick to the one club to get consistent.I did this then snapped my driver shaft!!! Now im a loss without my F-t3 until it gets repaired.

Dont buy Titleist 905T, buy 905R ;) if it works better why not

you seem soft. or have a relationship with your clubs.... if you have a chance to get something better.. why not go for it? how can you feel bad for getting a club?

How about saying to yourself you'll buy a new driver the next time you break your personal best? That way you'll work harder, and reward yourself for playing well

I actually just broke my PB 2 weeks ago and with a lesson booked in a week or 2 then maybe.......

Thinking 905t (or R ;) ) or an FT-3 fusion.

Shopping on a budget you see. Have posted a few WTBs here but the clubs are usually 8.5 xxs tour version or something. I just want normal 9 or 10 degree reg or stiff. Plus being in the UK if you add shipping ($35) it is USUALLY dearer. If any of you guys have FWs or drivers that you don't use PM me, you'll never know unless you try.

dont you see that when you threaten to get a new club, that club that you are going to get rid of starts becoming the best club in your bag. maybe this is just me because i have threatened my irons and then the show up the next time i play.

What do you guys think of the callaway square driver? Everytime the advert comes up on tv about it my dad always ses, Would you like that? Do you fancy that? Might take you to try it out soon!

 

He never ses this about clubs but for some reason he is about the callaway square driver! BecauseI think he thinks it will help my game, although driivng is my strongest part atm :-s! strange.

Okay, then simply tell him I'd rather spend $500 on something other than a driver, because I feel it won't make me a better driver of the ball. I haven't hit the Ft-i, just the SUMO2, and square drivers go straight on mishits provided you still have a good square face angle. Square drivers aren't going to stop a slice or hook, just give you more le-way as to where you hit the ball on the face.

i love putters, i have like 20 or so. Believe me, the only cure for bad putting is a new putter! indulge yourself!

The 905 series is going for real cheap, sell your Mizuno and pick up a Titleist... you can't go wrong.
