Ping Fitter - Cleveland Ohio

After 4 years, I feel it is time to get Re-Fit for my Ping G5 Irons... 4 years ago I did not have a swing and used my 5 iron as a 150 yard club... now I use my 8 iron... at the time I basically did a static fitting to 1/2" over Green Dot, while it doesn't fit Ping's charts, it is what the fitter recommended and it felt better than stock lie clubs back then ( I am 6' 1", 38 1/2" Wrist to floor w/shoes), based on experience I was told to use regular flex... I think now it is time to step up to Stiff Flex and my recent G20 Driver and 3 wood fittings put me in those... Can folks recommend a good iron fitter in the Cleveland OH area? The course I went too before doesn't sell Ping no more... which also has me second guessing the fitting... thanks...

Windmill Golf Center in Macedonia, OH. They are a Ping fitter, have a Trackman, and it's outside so you get to see ball flight.

Thanks for the love we are a ping regional fitting site, lots of club choices, trackman 3.0, flightscope are both available...JW is very good as well, we both have the passion to help people get the correct golf clubs to help them play better

Haven't been fit by JW so can't speak to it, but just posted a review of Windmill Golf Center in Macedonia in the tech forum. Great facility and TMaxx77 is genuinely amazing to work with.

[/quote]A course not choosing to carry certain brands anymore is becoming more common because of economics and budgets. That being said, I would contact other courses in your area to see if any of them have a certified, Ping fitting PGA Professional.

Man I miss CLE and all those courses. Windmill was always a favorite along with Fowler's Mill, Barrington GC, Chagrin Valley CC, Punderson, Sugarbush, etc. I cut my competition teeth in NE OH, even played with Dufner on the NCJT many moons ago. Good times...
