Club builders in So Cal

[Sidetracked]

For those who live in or around the Inland Empire (So Cal), where do you go to have shafts installed? Looking for a trustworthy club builder who knows what he is doing. I'm contemplating on buying some new shafts and would need them installed in some new irons. I'm trying to figure out if it is going to be worth the cost.

 

Anyone live in So Cal that does their own club work?

I do my own club work and have a frequency meter and the basic stuff, but don't have an MOI machine or launch monitor.

When I reshafted my KZGs, I had Ron Burleson at Corona Custom Golf check the MOI between the new and old six iron to see if I was on the right track. Seemed to me to be a detail-oriented, capable and stand-up guy.

If you're just doing steel shafts it's pretty easy--though it's also pretty easy to measure-once-cut-once-buy-another.

You might want to contact Bob Williams in Pasadena. He's a really nice guy with a ton of experience.

I am also in the Inland Empire of SoCal (909 area, actually), and do my own basic club work (reshafting, regripping). But I am looking for a recomendation for someone to set the loft/lie of my irons. I am not looking for a full club fitting experience, just bending to my specs. Would the shops recommended above be my best bet, or does anyone have a recommendation for a good club builder in inland SoCal?.
