Small, but growing

Here are my TP MILLS PUTTERS. The gooseneck Tradition is my gamer. Triple black with about 1/8th toe hang. This putter is the shiz. One sapphire blue Klassic, One triple black Klassic, a Custom 1 and a 1/254 which has a Klassic head shape and straight neck.

That's quite a "small" collection you have!

 

You only game one of those? Understandable, but remember that diligent oiling (silicone spray or baby oil) will help maintain their luster.

I stick to what works, and the gooseneck is the second of the mills that I tried. First the triple black Klassic, then the goose tradition. It feels perfect in my hands and I'm rolling the ball pure with it. No need to change right now. They're all there on deck if the goose starts to fail me. Not to mention, my putter "collection" is constantly on the chopping block. I fund my putters with other putters ;)

By the way, all 5 came into my possession within one month. If I had a chance to game any more than 2, I might as well give up golf!!!

One thing that I find interesting, is the terminology that surrounds finishes.

 

I think one of the terms that Greg used is "triple black", which is just our every day run of the mill black oxide.

Nah, you can be just like choeppner and put 2 or 3 (at least) in your bag and alternate when you're bored. ;)

I've been involved in camerons for so long, any flat black finish without glare became known as 3x black. I'm I'll be honest, the mills finish is nicer asthetically to me. Black satin like finish, very soft looking. Seems to be more durable also. It is different from the 3x black finish that I've seen on many tour camerons. Both great finishes in their own right.
