Custom Lajosi "mini"

I am patiently waiting for my new custom putter from Kari Lajosi to arrive from Australia. I contacted Kari back in the fall after seeing some pictures of his work while searching for a new putter. I had never even thought of a custom built putter until I saw what options were available. I was looking for a blade style putter that had a shorter heel to toe length and was close to face balanced. I currently use an odyssey 1W and really like the shape of it and it works well with my stroke. After a few emails with Kari, he told me he could mill me something that was a little smaller than an average blade putter and suggested a long pipe neck to achieve the toe hang I was looking for. After seeing a few examples, I picked out a few things I liked, and I sketched out on paper what I was looking for. I decided to go with a high toe after seeing some of his current models but asked him to size the overall head size down. Kari said that he would be able to make it, and it went from there. Here are some pics of how it came out. I love the smaller size head with the long neck. It came out great.

Thanks for the nice comments. If anyone is looking for a custom putter builder, I highly recommend kari lajosi. I know there a many very good builders out there, but for the price, options, customer service, and craftsmanship, you cannot go wrong with lajosi. And it's made in Australia which I think adds some coolness lol.

Face neck toe bumpers facemill are all really cool on this. Nice to see a MiNi that isn't anseresque. Sweet pickup.

Received the putter in the mail today. It looks great. Just got to roll it on the carpet and it has a very good feel. A different feel compared to my odyssey and scotty cameron. Below are some in hand photos and comparison pics next to a scotty Cameron Newport 2 and odyssey 1W.

Personally think would look great without the dot and alignment lines as lines of shape of transition from bumpers to cavity are very straight (only my preference). Very nice putter and hope you enjoy it!

Once again great looking putter, the mushrooming on the cavity stamp looks awesome. Good look staying away from custom putters now, Otr won't satisfy the craving anymore
