My wife is working hard to be understanding that I need my tee time. Sundays , she takes the kids and teaches sunday school and works in the nursery at the church so I have pretty much a standing tee time at AGC for the next few months. I help her get everyone out the door and tee off at 9:29.

Here's what's in the bag right now. Will probably see some changes this week with some more Atmos on the way along with Bettinardi.

 

Been shooting some really good scores and playing consistent golf. Loving what I have in the bag and have been watching a lot of Gankas and Dahlquist stuff. Dan Carraher short game vids have helped as well.

Lol no it does not mean that. I am dumping my Edel Workbench 642 though.

Yes I was surprised with the PXG too. I went for a trackman fitting and it was down to M1 440, Epic SZ and PXG 0811LX. The M1 440 took off more spin but the misses were far better with the PXG. I've pretty much revamped my action so I will have to revisit and see what the fitter thinks now but I am hitting a lot of fairways and the look and sound are great.

 

PX 6.0 vs PX 6.0 LZ. First off the LZ feels a lot better. I didn't mind regular PX but comparatively the LZ just feels great...really smooth. I'd say ball flight appears a little higher in LZ but no loss of distance for me and still easy to shallow out and flight the ball down. Going in I would have thought 6.0 LZ would be weak for me in regard to spin but it's perfect. Long time PX 6.0, 6.5, Modus 120X user here and PX 6.0 LZ will be what I'm using for foreseeable future.

 

Bag is Titleist Players 4 stand bag.

But glad you have something that is working for you. I always think I should go to a 2 ball or other similar mallet. Just never seem to be able to control distance. I got my new Xenon from Lump Saturday. I posted a pic over in my WITB.....Check it out and let me know what you think J. I don't want to clutter up your WITB with my pics or I would post here to show you.

I only bought the 2Ball because I wanted to try and O-Works but didn't like the paint scheme on any of them and the 2Ball was pretty plain. Now I can't get rid of it.

I am a big fan of the O-Works insert. I like how soft and muted it is. Sometimes with putters that make a pronounced sound...I think I unconsciously anticipate the hit or if I don't pure it and the sound is off I get agitated lol.

 

With the O-Works it's so quiet and smooth all I'm doing is trying to put a good stroke on it. I have no concerns with the audible side of things.

 

I feel like the insert does put a truer roll on the ball.

Been testing Epic SZ this week with the stock HZRDUS 6.0. Looks like this is going straight in the bag. That sound! In testing it looks really easy to turn over which should help eliminate my block right which has been killing me as of recent off the tee. If it looks good for extended time I'll probably throw an Atmos Blue 6 in it.

 

Thinking of re-testing TP5X this weekend.

 

Cut half inch off of a Fuji Pro XLR8 71 for my 3 wood to play at 42.5. My ball striking with that club has been inconsistent. Looking for a little tweak or something to sharpen that up. We'll see how the weight feels and if all goes well I'll chop down my Atmos Blue TS 7.

 

Getting an itch to acquire a pricey blade flat stick...

Last round I used my Newport and rolled it pretty well. I hadn't used a blade in a while. Results were very positive. May be on the hunt for a nice tour blade.

Thanks. No go on that Piretti right now. I feel like the flange on Piretti's are somewhat larger than most...sometimes they look bulky. I don't know we'll see. I do think that Tour 801 is sharp though.

Nice clean player's bag/setup Judge440. How are you liking the V grinds on your Vokey wedges? I am thinking of ordering a SW in 56/oil can finish to try it out. Wedge works does some nice stuff!

I am really liking the V grinds...no complaints. They perform great for me in all situations...straight faced, open, explosion, bump, low spinner, etc. They have high bounce on square faced full shots which is good as I can get pretty steep. They look great in the bag too!

Loving the g400's so far.

 

Picked up a Ping Vault blade. See how that goes. So far Betti Tour DASS is king.
