What shaft are you guys playing in your Covert Tour 2.0?

The wheels are turning again and have been thinking about adding the Cover Tour 2.0 to the bag. For the most part the rest of my bag is locked with the exception of maybe the new SLDR mini but just wondering what shaft everyone is playing in the 2.0's and how they are performing?

I currently play a Speeder 6.3x TS in my Stage 2 Tour and am leaning towards the same shaft in the tour 2.0 as well. Anyone else gaming this combo?

I love that the tour 2.0 is fade biased and sits open at address and the one time I hit it a few months back when it released I loved the sound and feel even with the stock Tini S. Also love that it's a heavy head as I prefer to play my drivers at 44.25" to 44.5".

I'll definitely do some more testing before I pull the trigger on anything but just looking for some feedback.

Thanks!

I've got a Fubuki alpha 73grm stiff shaft playing @ 45.5" tipped 1/2" currently. This setup is perfect for me. Allows me to fade or draw the ball at will. Best combo I've ever gamed.

I would give the stock Kuro Silver a fair shot. I never play stock shafts, but have stuck with the Kuro after trying a few other combos. Nice mid-high bombs for me. It seems to deemphasize the fade bias more than other shafts. I hit it very straight.

i tried everythings at a demo, oban white, oban gold, speeder. the best for me with least spin and most carry was the kuro kage tini. the idea of wired ribbons of actual nickel inside the tip of the shaft becasue the sme nickel usedin surgical environments and internal parts is know to return back to original shape after be ebnt or adding pressure. makes sense when they describe the TINI in the shaft.

i went in not even wanting to try the kuro kage, and at the end it was the best for me. but its not your average stock shaft. its areal deal aftermarket shaft they put in it not a crappy made for shaft.

this is nice.

I'm wondering if anyone has tried a lightweight shaft with this head at all, say a sub-60 gram? I love the head but hate the kk tini and I'm not so sure I want to cut it then start toying with other shafts. I'm fairly certain the profile just doesn't fit me.

But anyway I'd like to drop the overall weight of the club since head/adaptor combo are so heavy. Will play at 44.75 or slightly less fyi.

i just bought a Project X LZ 70 Handcrafted shaft for my Covert Tour 2.0. will be here next week. cant wait to try it. i also sent my head to continental golf, (for those who dont know they refinish clubs and are the authorized refinisher for taylormade, ping and cleveland).

i loved the look fo the i25 Driver so much they are going to put that matte balck and matte black racing stripes on the covert tour 2.0.

Should look sweet.

Love the head but hated the feel of the club with the tini (too heavy). Installed an aldila tour atx green xtra stiff and plays at 45 inches. The atx is COUNTERBALANCED and improves the feel of the swingweight. Definitely less by a couple of points

I have a matsushita indigo 56 x stiff which played at 45.5 and tried it in the 2.0. Not so good. Too much spin. Ballooning and less control. I have a late release nada 60 gram shaft is the lowest I can go from a weight perspective. Funny how the atx is not super tip stiff (states it is "firm") and yet I have always gotten along with the nv shaft profiles despite my quick tempo. Speaks to quality of aldila shafts.
