How is the fit?

Hi gang,

I have kind of wide feet with a narrow heel. Best fit I have found so far are the FootJoy Contours. My toes are kind of "tall" as well and need the toe of the shoe to be high enough so they aren't flattened by the toe of the shoe.

The SP-8's (I think that is the name- the new "Power Platforms" model) have caught my eye. The local GG did not have any wides in stock, so I have not had a chance to try them on.

Can anyone tell me how they fit that may have a foot shape similar to mine? Thanks a bunch! (cool)

I have wide feet also, and when the sp-8 (the one tiger wears) came out, i loved the looks of them. But when i tried them on they felt weird, like the area around laces are to high up on them. the best way i can describe it is that the laces felt like they were made for hightops when the shoe was a low top. So, they were a no good to me. But then i tried the sp-8 tour saddle. the area around the laces on these felt totally different, and shoe felt great. needless to say, i bought them and even after walking 18 , my feet felt like they were in heaven!

 

let me also add that i never like the looks of a saddle golf shoe before, but these guys were so comfortable that i had to buy them. another good alternative, that are cheaper, would be the sp-6. they feel just as good as the sp-8 tour saddle, just a little cheaper.

i wear an sp8 saddle and they are amazing....like slippers...with cleats

 

they are more comfortable than my regular shoes...one problem...the laces are kinda short...

I have a pair of white and black sp-8's and they are by far the best golf shoes I have owned. Right out of the box I walked 18 and it was easy. I'm thinking of buying a couple more pair b/c I know Nike will change them soon.

I have a pair of Nike SP-8 TW in white and in black and they are very comfortable! I wore the black pair tuesday and right out of the box they felt broken in. The soles do give you excellent traction. I'll probably get another pair because I love them so much :cheesy:

Like everyone else is saying these shoes are super comfortable. Just like slippers, and more comfortable than my 360's. The only think I can find negative about them is that they don't seem to breathe as well(a little hotter).

my grandparents brought me some white sp8's back from the usa in february , i wore them for the first time on monday as the ground has been wet and muddy and i have to say they are extremely comfortable.
