Miura CB 1007 y

Really wanting to get myself a set of these irons but I cant find too many address pics of the shorter irons ie PW, 9.

I have a set of the 501 CB and they are a great set but the pw and 9 iron look like shovels to me.

 

Hoping any owners of the 1007 y can post some address pics or point me in the right direction to see how they look.

7 iron for reference. Like Mizzyman said, these arent' for the faint of heart. Sets up very much like a blade with just a tad of offset.

Unfortunately, I sold my set before hitting them, but the leading edge was noticeably sharper than my set. I prefer some releif as done to my set that really deters digging.

Did you order them without any paint-fill or did you personally remove it? On Rakuten the y-grinds always seem to have a different finish to them.

I know now you can order almost anything you want via Miura Giken's craftsman options or something like that. Thanks.

Forgot to say, these are the y-grind. No issues with digging whatsoever. Same finish as regular ones.

Im thinking of putting a combo set of the 1007Y and 5005 together. Any thoughts from you guys or better suggestions?

If you don't have to get a whole set of the 1007's, I guess that'd be ok. But I like the short irons in them so I would try that first. Nice shape and control, way better than the 202's and some of their other CB's.

I currently own Kekoa's set. Have been playing them for about 5-6 weeks now. They are fantastic and I don't have a problem with them digging at all. I switched from the Cobra ACP to these and find these considerably more forgiving. The feel is fantastic. Not mushy soft, but when you hit them right, they are amazing. Easy to work the ball either way with them as well. Only think I would caution about them is their factory lie angle. They are about 2* flat from most current OEM specs. I had a problem with hitting an unexpected draw with the Cobra's(and my AP2's before that), so I left them as is. Get the occasional surprise push, but really am adjusting to the new lie angles and beginning to love them even more.

The 1007 is going to be very similar to the new CB-57 that will be out in a few weeks. Personally, I am going to game a combo set of the cb-57's and the MB-001's. Can't wait!
