These are pretty darn forgiving for a blade type club.
Played 4 rounds w/ the Protos and I've played my best golf of the season. Honeymoon phase? Possibly.
The thin topline and lack of offset are candy to my eyes.
Frames the ball so well.

Not really vapor related but nike has 2014 pro combo for around $540 on sale, and with the "BIGTIME" discount code it'll be like $430 something. Covert forged 2.0 is also included.

Same goes for all covert clubs, might get the tour hybrid for like $109 with the code. Don't need a driver for FWY.

Not really, I honestly got them because they were cheap, if they were still $699 I would pass. But they were $419 with discount code. I would say that's a great deal for irons that are a barely a year old.

 

 

I will use MMPROTO for sure, I can hang with the 7-PW, might bring out the Pro Combo for the 4-6 extra help in forgiveness.

How would the color crown on the VR Tour/Ltd look on the Vapor with a small volt swoosh alignment aid look? I prefer it to been clean on top, but it might not look too bad?

I was thinking about this myself. I'm guessing (hoping) that it'll be a black or grey head with a volt swoosh. Nike couldn't possibly put out a VOLT colored head could they???????

I could do a small swoosh logo as an alignment aid even though I would prefer nothing at all. I bet Nike goes back to black head with Volt accents.
