5-some in Chicago?

I have friends coming in from out of town in early October and 5 of us want to play golf. Any courses that might accept a 5-some at that time of year?

Where in Chicago? There are plenty of places that might consider it assuming you find an off time to do so. But if you can narrow down where you might be that would help.

Foxford Hills will take a 5some...even on a Saturday. Kind of crazy but they're not really concerned about pace.

I am near Wrigley but the fact is that we are willing to travel to make it happen. I'd say within an hour or so of the city. Thx

Sadly, we rarely play there anymore because of consistent 5.5 hour rounds. A couple of weeks ago I booked a 3 and 2 some and they offered us to play as a five some. We chose not to as we didn't want to be the ones holding up the PoP but they were pushing it quite a bit.

What are the tee time intervals? Pushing 5-balls and still knowing you're having 5+ hour rounds, that is insane. I can't believe a course would be OK with that. Here in Myrtle Beach we can get some long rounds in busy season but we still do our damnedest to get everyone out and around in under 5 hours.

They're 8 minute tee times which isn't conducive to a 5some either.

I was recently behind a 5some at Oakmeadows. I would also call Balmoral Woods.
