The Tribute GC practice facility

Hello all.

Does anyone have any experience with the tribute practice facility?

I live in The Colony and am trying to find a good range to practice at. I've been to Haney center & Coyote Ridge but am not a fan. Not digging the water at Haney and what coyote ridge calls a driving range is just awful.

 

Would appreciate any and all input.

Range is good and spacious. All grass and no mats. Short game area is adjacent and okay. I've never been to haney' but tribute is much better than coyote.

There used to be a decent place on Spring Creek Parkway over in Plano, think it was DA Weibring?? Not sure if it's still there are (or how far it is from you in The Colony). My favorit practice location in the Northern Dallas 'burbs was golden bear golf center in Addison.

DA's is closed. A large data center is being built there now. Golden Bear is still there. They changed the name to something else. That is a very nice practice facility.

Been to DA's in the past. Golden bear is a great place to practice, but I don't agree with having to pay extra if you want to use the chipping area.

I've been going up to frisco lakes and the trails of frisco lately as they are just a couple of miles north of me. Fairly decent practice facilities. Only beef with TOF is that the range is irons only, or nothing over 240 yards.

I guess I'm just searching for a practice Mecca that probably doesn't exist.

It's probably just me being difficult, but I want to find a place that has 8-10 targets to hit to and a sweet a** chipping/pitching area.

Maybe I'll just build one myself.
