*** 2013 YAMAHA Inpres X V-Forged vs. Callaway Legacy Black Irons set ***

OK, I have chance to get either set of these irons from JAPAN, but having a tough decision. Or, like a typical golf hoe, should I get both(then sell the set I "really" don' want) lol...

[/quote] go for the Yamaha, to my knowledge these are the last ones that were forged in Japan. They are one of the best irons available in the last few years.

Get both! I have the Yamaha 2013 Tours and the Callaway Black Stenson models. Both excellent in their own way.

Last time I checked the Legacy's have quite a few wins on tour, Yamaha? they make a nice motorbike

I would credit wins to the golfers themselves more than their equipment. I'll bet on the Asian tour Yamaha is played more than Callaway Legacy.

[/quote] Yamaha has a very small roster on the One Asia Tour/ Japan Tour. To my knowledge, they don't have many affiliations with club pros either.

I'd get the Callaways. At least if something happens to them, you can call up Callaway for replacements. Don't know if Yamaha would have the same policy.

For the look I prefer the Yammies (I'm gaming the 2013 Yammy Tour), but if you prefer more forgiveness go with the Legacy Black.

So get both and make your own opinion.

So Yamaha is no longer having their irons forged in Japan? I have a set of 2012 XV Forged (non Tour Model) I'm planning on having re-shafted so I can play them in the Spring.
