Post View Changed?

Don't know about everyone else, but I'd rather be able to just scroll down and read everyone's relplies...clicking on each one is really just a pain in the Word not allowed. Maybe it's just me...BDL

Somehow your display view changed. You are in Outline mode and need to change back to Standard.

 

Go to Options>>>Display>>>Standard

hey gx, are you guys workin on the slider menu being on the same side as the navi menu? or making those two as user defined?

oops, thought that was for posts that were unanswered for some reason and never clicked it. I don't know why i wouldn't have associated 'unanswered' with 'view replies to my posts.' :rolleyes:

I'm the same. Was getting really frustrated with the new layout. Slowly getting used to it. Why they changed the view replies button to "unanswered" is beyond me! Maybe I am just crazy, but I also liked being able to see which club was reviewed last in the review section. That function is also gone. Bring back the old system.

Anytime we get used to something and then it's changed on us, we, naturally, are going to go through a period of discomfort. Trust me, these changes were not made to piss anyone off or make it more complicated. These changes are always inevitable when updates to a platform providers software happens and features are added. In most cases, the things we got used to haven't been removed, just moved or renamed. View these as enhancements that will ultimately make the site better and more efficient, while adapting to them. If you continue to have any specific troubles, PM GxGolfer and he'll help you through them. Remember, it's always just a function of the software and not the site itself.

I like the new format. Easy to get used to.

I really like the new look. Much more professional looking. Easier to navigate.

 

Plus it looks alot like the program I use at work, so if someone happens to look at my screen at first sight it could be passed off as work. I love that part about it! :) :rolleyes: :cry:

The user selectable option should be installed by end of the day. Feedback in topic view should be there as well.

It was changed to unanswered because the wording was too long. The original wording will be restored and appear on the right menu. I don't understand what you mean by Viewing last club in the review section??? What function where you using? Post = View All New Posts.

I like the new format. However, is there a way to search within a particular forum? Currently, if I have the BST forum open and I enter a search word, I end up getting hits from every forum.

Two ways:

 

1) Use the advance search link in the right menu.

 

2) At the bottom of each forum there is a search box. That search is for the forum only.
