I had a pair of them, but they wore out FAR too quickly, and I didn't like the higher bounce on them.

This was my Lob wedge after only 6 WEEKS of use. This picture was taken after I scrubbed the club, to ensure it's clean. I’m not sure why, but it wore very, very quickly. Needless to say, I sold my pair. Not everybody has this experience, and I'm told that only early CG10's had the wear problem.

Also -if you look at the specs, the bounce is VERY high on these wedges. Eventually, it drove me crazy on finesse shots around the green, and I had to sell them, especially considering the dang things wore out so quickly.

Yeah, that is weird. Mine sure don't look like that, and i've had them for more than 6 weeks. Maybe you cleaned them with a metal brush (ouch!). It really doesn't look like they are clean, i see some grass stains. Even then, they're not that soft. If that is legit wear, you still have the groves, so they are still very much playable.

To those looking at that and being scared by it, don't be, these are some nice wedges.

That appears to be rust, not grass stains.

I'd have to agree. I had a 56 & 60 one dot. They did tend to show wear rather quickly and I didn't care for the higher bounce (more than what I was used to)....went back to my 588's....much better!

i have the 50 and 54...and prefer the feel of them over my vokey any day...my 54 sees the sand a lot and after a year it looks similar to the photo above...but i could care less how the finish looks as long as it feels good...after all i dont hit it with the finish...so if you can over look wear then they are one of the best wedges out there. IMO

I really like these wedges, the rounded shape seems to suit my eye much better than the straight face of the vokey, which is the obvious benchmark for comparison. They are definately softer as well, but I have not witnessed wear and tear like what was mentioned above. That being said, I do feel you may have to replace them more frequently than a more durable alternative.

As far as bounce goes, I have the 60 degree 2 dot, 12 degree bounce, which seems to be find and especially ideal from the sand. I also own the 54 degree 1 dot, 10 degree bounce. Ideally this would be about 8 degrees but they do not make them any lower.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
