Finally tested! A quick review of the Crazy 435II w/ TJ-46 HK Nero

So I finally had some time to test the Crazy 435II w/ TJ-46 HK. I read several reviews on how the 435II was quite unforgiving and not so easy to hit well. However, from my two range sessions, trackman and on the course, I could say that this is one of the best combos I have ever had!

A quick wrap-up, my SS is in the 100-105 range, launch angle at about 12.5-13.5. My current gamers were the Honma TW717 455 and Callaway Big Bertha Alpha 815 DB. I found on the track man that the ball speed increased about 2-3 mph, with similar numbers launch. I tend to tee up quite high, and hit on an upward blow, so the very deep face is welcome! Spin numbers dropped from an average of 2700-2800 to around 2400-2500... not much, but good enough! Runout was nice, and the land angle was shallower than before (i tend to land at a steeper angle).

Overall, I think this is a very satisfying driver, and the Crazy TJ-46 HK Nero 7.5 proved to be a great choice for me. Quite stiff, but the it eliminates the left side for me, which is my main miss. The high kick shaft keeps trajectory quite boring and flat, ideal for me i think. The sound is a nice thwack and super solid. It is still an athlete's driver I think; really can't get too comfortable with it, and must hit it with conviction. When you do, it goes like stink!

Long story short, I love this driver and would recommend it to anyone who loves the shape and "thwacking" feel of a driver like this. I think guys with SS above 115 MPH would bomb it like crazy!
