Aren't these a reworking of a previous model? If so, I'm reminded of a post that Richard made comparing a Hogan blade to a Mizuno to a current Taylormade; three versions of the same design spanning 50 plus years!

They're a pretty club - the design is similar to the FG-17, while the cosmetics took their cue from the early 70s buttonbacks.

Really, when it comes to blades, how much can they change?

Therefore, I'd rather spend $200 on grips (leather) and $50 on irons.

Yes quite nice looking irons but in the current market that is still not a price that you just can't say no to.
Although I love blades and can really appreciate all the different offerings and types available, it is still a buyers market.
The market for them continues to shrink and I reckon this seller still may not find it easy to sell these. Even at that price.

My thought too. Still better than the launch price of $1000, and competitive with other MB offerings.

Sadly, even my TM-92s sold for a whopping $86 CDN on eBay (about $68 US). Wow.
