New Golf Tournament Format - Need some imput

A few buddies and I host a pretty successful two-person scramble each year in May and our biggest suggestion from the field is, "Why aren't you doing this more often?!" So we decided to experiment and host a new event this coming October. Instead of a two-person scramble with a field of around 140 players, we're limiting the field to only 48 players with the following mixed format rules:

 

Four 12-man Teams, consisting of six twosomes per Team, will compete in each of the following three formats:

 

6 holes – 2 man Scramble

6 holes – 2 man Best Ball

6 holes – 2 man Alternate Shot

 

Each foursome group will have one twosome from one team facing off against a twosome from another team. At stake in each foursome is a total of 3 points - one point for each 6-hole format shown above, lowest score of each format wins the point.

 

*Players will sign up as a single and will be randomly assigned a partner of similar ability. This pair will be part of a larger 12-man Team.

 

The field filled out in less than a day and based on the handicaps (or close approximations), the four teams are pretty well balanced.

 

So my question to you, what complications or challenges do you foresee happening in a mixed format like this? I want to make sure all of our bases are covered.
