Tee time policy at Kohler courses

My wife and I are going to Wisconsin for the 4th time this coming summer. Each time we've gone, we've stayed at the American Club and I've played some of the resort courses. I typically made my hotel reservation in Jan or Feb and they allowed me to make my tee time, at that time.

But the cost of the American Club has gone up (almost $100 a night) in those 4 years and we are looking at other lodging options. But my question is this...can I still make my tee times during the winter? or do non-resort players have a different time frame in which to make golf reservations? If anyone knows for sure, please chime in.

And yes, I understand I can call the courses and find out, but I'm at work currently....and just wondering.

I know this was a week ago so you may have already found your answer, but, in the event you haven't...

As I recall, if you are staying off property you can't make advance tee times on the Straits and River courses but you can make them at the Irish and Meadows courses.

I've made times at all of the Kohler courses well in advance and have never stayed on property. No issues here just calling the general reservations number and booking that way. Hope that helps.
