Members club vs club cup play

Hey guys I am looking for thoughts opinions on setting up a member club vs another local club March play style cup. My club wants to do one and set it up but nobody gets it done. I think it would be a great weekend to get going and make it an annual.

My ideas so far

All who want to play can with correct handicap including a women's and junior division if the interest was there but try to max out to 20 per side or less min of 10. Likely closer to 10-12 because this will be a home and home event on 1 weekend.

The real things I need thoughts in are regarding how many matches and type

I'm my opinion I would love 2 matches on each day so 4 total a morning say 7starting time then light lunch and afternoon 1 starting time with 2 match of the day alternate shots to ease the fatigue late in the day

 

Day 1

morning 2man four balls

afternoon 2 man alternate shot

Day 2

Switch the set so alternate shot first then four balls

 

I would try my best to match players with say 5-8 range of each other handicap so we don't get a low day 3 handicap with a 20 handicap so to include each player in every hole and every shot then try to match teams against other clubs teams within the same range as well so day a team of mids don't play a team of lows or lows play highs

But this would all be dependent on who signs up

 

What do you guys think. I would like to have the plan set to give my club for opening this season for April
