Bushnell Tour V2 Rangefinder w/ slope edition

My buddy said he would sale me his for $150. Just curious if anybody has some insight on this particular rangefinder and if $150 is a good price? Thanks.

Condition of it? If it works, then the price is good. I had a V2 non-slope and it was very accurate, just a battery hog.

I've used this one for the past 2-3 years with no issue. It's a larger unit and pretty heavy and seems built really well. I bought a cheap silicone rubber case on eBay for a few bucks and it seems to protect it. I have dropped it several times and it's flown out of the cart and hit the path and tumbled and it always keeps working.

 

 

My main gripe is there is no battery life indicator. So you shoot a target then the next one it simply might not turn on. I now keep a spare battery in the carrying case if this happens on the course. Batteries are usually sold in a 2 pack for around $9-10 at Walmart. I play around 40 rounds a year and usually have to put a new battery in mid season or so. As for the slope adjustment. I'd say 99% of the time it only adjusts 1-3 yds. I can only recall it adjusting the yardage by 7-10 yds maybe 10 times since owning it. Those holes you know without the slope adjustment your adding or subtracting a club or two just by looking at the green and its elevation relative to where you are standing.

 

As for price I paid $225 new during a Fathers Day sale on Amazon. If I ever lost mine I'd pay $150 for a good condition used one. Fair deal.

I've had the v2 slope for around 4 years. Works great just do yourself a favor and buy rechargeable cr2 batteries because it burns through them. I would say $150 is a fair price as long as it's in good condition.

I have had mine for 6 or 7 years now and still works great. Just keep an extra battery in your golf bag.
