My V-Steel Project

looking for some advice

hello everyone, i'm going to reshaft my 5 wood vsteel with a v2 75 stiff.  so i decided to turn to you guys for some advice before my 5 wood goes under the heat gun.  the shaft was originally in a titleist driver 905S.  Here are some of the questions that i would greatly appreciate some advice with.  

• How will the low torque (2.2) of the v2 affect the playability of my 5 wood?
• How long should i heat the vsteel before pulling shaft?
• Trying to save my new decade grip, any advise on this?
• Is the change worth it to the new shaft?
• Feel free to offer any advice on my project.

I'm not sure if it pulls out from Titleist will fit V-steel because Titleist is a bore-tru head. Just get a new one, it's not that expensive

i believe titleist uses a .335 tip shaft and i know the v steel is a .350, you may need to use a shim to get it to fit properly

i was planning on using a shim because of the difference in size. i also plan on tipping the shaft 2 inches since it was originally on a titleist driver. i got the shaft fro $30 shipped so i figured it would be worth experimenting.

the ust website suggest that if you are going to install that shaft into a 5 wood that i should at least tip it 2 inches.

justl loved this combo, but i had to use a brass shim. next project my cpr2 18*, any shaft recommendations????

Nice. I did up my old 200steel with a Speeder 757. The tip was damaged so I took off a solid 2inches. I was blown away at the range. Way more boring that the stock steel was and ballflight was lower. Unfortunately I'll be forced to give it to some needy soul since it won't knock my sig. fw's out of the bag anytime soon.
