FT-3 Tour (retail) built by Callaway van

It was supposed to be 1/2 degree open but.........

Last summer I go to Golfsmith and get fitted by the Callaway van that visits their store. I didn't make a decision that day but went to their next stop which was a local club w launch monitor out on their range the next day. I get fitted (opti-fit)by the same person and we verified all the readings and looked at the ball flight etc. So they build me the FT-3 Tour 10 degrees w draw.

So I playthe driver last year hit - some good drives and made some huge slices(which is/was my miss any way.) So my ball striking improves through the summer and fall w every club. This season got off to a slow start w no range time and limited rounds. Again I'm hitting every club decent, but the best I can do with this driver is a straight shot with about a 5-10 yd fade. Well my new club has 7 dog leg lefts and being a very short hitter I knew that my driver was going to hurt me all year.

Monday I brought the driver to a local clubfitter and explained my problem. I hit some other drivers(my back hurt, no warm up, and I never swing well at this place) my numbers suck with everything we tried. Finally I said "there is nothing wrong with driver why don't you take it apart and make it a closed face."


He works on the club and he tells me that it was 2 degrees open! He puts it back together 2 degrees closed, but I haven't had a chance to hit it yet. What changes should I expect to see?
