red gatorades. water...lots of water. snicker bars.....twix if they're out. cold pepsi. bud light.....lots of bud light.

my course has the greatest breakfast burritos around....they always have one ready for me.

 

peanut butter sandwiches on whole wheat bread. i like to mix the peanut butter with the honey then spread it on the bread. sometimes i sub maple syrup (ya'll know how i like the maple syrup.....errr....some of you do). i pass on bananas.....nasty food.

On a long day at the course I usually bring a big sandwich, a banana, a bag of almonds, granola/fruit bar, protein drink, bag of carrots..... lots of water of course... I'm trying to put on weight so I need to be eating as much as possible.

 

Recently I started eating those Clif bars which are okay.. a little less sugar would be nice but they are quit good.

For me it's Peanut Butter Crackers or a banana at the turn and during the round. As a diabetic, I can't mess around with my glucose dropping!

I just got turned on to this new drink by Bo Van Pelt's sister in law. Bo endorses this product as well as the Red Sox closer Jonathon Papelbon. It is called Mona Vie. www.monavie.com. I love this stuff. Just 1-2oz in the am when you wake up and same before bed. Holy cow. All my aches and pains that I was taking my Advil/Aleve cocktail for are now gone. Also my coffee habit cured since this stuff gives me so much energy.

 

Because of the great results it has given me I have signed on to be a national distributor of the product. I work from home already so it's been quite easy.

I saw how much interest this topic generated so I interviewed Robert Yang, the Nutrition Consultant for the Titleist Performance Inst in Episode 7 of my Better Golf with Fitness Podcast.

No real routine. Mostly water, bananas, and unsalted walnuts. Sometimes some kind of a trail mix comprised mostly of dried fruits and nuts. I think the idea of a peanut butter sandwich, especially if on whole grain bread, is a pretty good idea.
