help with a d2 reshaft

I have a nice little issue I would love some help with. It may sound rediculious but I am on a limited budget and I don't want to buy a bunch of expensive shafts. I am also very loyal to UST.

 

So here's my issue. I have tried two different Harmon Tour Design tour issued shafts in my 8.5 titliest d2 The fist was a GXS which is 79 grams and a fairly stiff tip. I launched it at 15 degrees and spun it at 2900 rpms with a ball speed of 155. I fully inserted the shaft and it's frequency was 278.

I then tried the harmon tour design cb 90 which is 85 grams also tip stiff. It launched at 15-16 and spun around 2300-2700. I also fully inserted the shaft and it frequencies out at 280.

 

I play my driver at 44" and I would like to lower the launch by about two degrees. I am just annoyed by how high I hit it and how little roll I get. I hit them all straight as long as the shaft frequency stays between 274 and 280. I now have a v2 86 x flex. I haven't put it in yet. Both previous shafts were stiff. It would be great if I could get some advice on how much I should insert an x to possibly get it to play like the previous two as far as frequency and such and if it might help me with my high ballflight. I know this is a lot to ask but I would love some opinions.

take what you have and run. 2900 rpms is low. try a different golf ball possible. your using good shafts. like the ust line >> try the ACCRA shafts. SC or new XC .. the 75 or 85 gram versions. or v.2 85.. x flex and insert fully. best you can without going to a lower loft my man. could be your angle of attck and the upeard movement you have top produce the 15* launch numbers.. don't know?

Insert the V2 86 X flex about 1 1/2"should give you about what you are looking for. It would be easier to help you if we know your swing speed and tempo.
