I've used hole 19 for at least year...maybe 2.

133 rounds on it. I use it with the apple watch. It's free. I very dislike paying for apps. VERY EASY to use. I haven't tried Golf Now's scoring since it went free, but I've looked at it and i'm not sure it'll take the place of hole 19. it's fast quick and easy to use.

I also like the versatility of hole19. you can track which club you hit to where. although the advanced input isn't compatible with the watch. basic input with watch convenience or advanced and you have to pull the phone out each time. up to you!

Golf now looks like it has additional info like distances to hazards. so it seems promising. but it's not like I can't pull the phone out and get the distance to the hazard on hole19.

I really was hopeful for the Nike Golf app but....

Definitely a fan of hole19 (if you couldn't tell)

my only problem with Hole 19 at the moment, is that a course I dearly love and play a few times a month, is improperly mapped. Granted, this course went through a (very much needed) redesign. But it's been two years, lets go guys!

On my round there tomorrow, I think I am going to "map" it for them with my GPS and screen grabs. Hope it works and they can update to the new card.

there's this course I play at and it has a "women's" green and a "men's" green which is over a creek. they also had it mis-mapped. take a screen shot of the hole and let them know which course. they updated within about 3 days because the next time I played that course it was fixed. give as much info as you can. their cust. svc responded to me within 24 hours.

Golf shot has worked well for me. There is a slight delay on watch and can't wander to far it it in on the cart but yardages have been good. Does not eat to much battery as well.

Yikes, not a great start. I've always been interested in the Game Golf/Arccos systems but every time I thought about getting one, I just thought it seemed like too much work during the round. I don't want to have to worry about making sure it's activated, or editing strokes/shots and looking to see if it captured a practice swing.

I've been using the Game Golf Classic system for a couple of seasons now. Rarely has it detected a shot I haven't taken, and it is so ingrained in my pre-shot routine that I rarely miss tagging a club and then it is usually a tap in putt that someone has given me and batted the ball back. I turn it on about 5 minutes before we tee off and it has always been ready to go. I have had two of the 18 tags stop working for whatever reason but replacement tags, if needed, aren't expensive. Being the "Classic" version I can't see anything during the round as it is, and can only review and edit (if necessary) after I get home and upload it.
