The Gridiron Putter Grip

BestGrips

Recommended Posts

While BestGrips has made grips from football leather for 6 years, this year we've got an exciting change-up just in time for football season with the Gridiron Putter Grip. The new Football Stitch! While it mimics the style used to stitch footballs, the Football Stitch also leaves a very small profile, almost as unnoticeable as out standard stitch. The Gridiron Putter Grip is available in two colors (tan and burgundy) for $35, and like all of our grips and headcovers, is made in the USA (Houston, Texas).

how soft are the Gridiron grips compared to the basketball material grip? Reason i ask is that i found the basketball one to be pretty hard.... I love your products so dont get me wrong... but it fells more like a outdoor basketball than a indoor leather ball... also could you post pics of the difference between the "D" shaped grip and the standard? I also ask because i ordered the D in the basketball and I think the other may be better suited for me too.... I know its different than the one i had recently on a Xenon putter i sold.... It was a xenon logo Bestgrip and it felt perfect... I want to re-order but want to be sure i get the same shape as the Xenon one... sorry for the rambling... just saw this and thought i may catch you still on here

Gridiron will be firmer than the hardcourt. They're dyed and processed completely different than any of the other leathers. Xenon uses black major leaguer and saddle rancher pistol putter grips. If you liked the xenon, you want a pistol grip.

As far as firmness goes, I'd rate the grips from firmest to softest as: gridiron, hardcourt, carbon fiber, rancher, MicroPerf, gt-l and major leaguer.

No worries. Other way around with the putter grips. Black = major leaguer (baseball glove) and saddle tan = rancher.

Which is the grip that mills uses? I have a tp mills #1 I ordered last year, with a black bestgrip, like it a lot , has a velvety feel.

Major Leaguer Pistol Putter Grip. My personal favorite.

Love the major leaguer. But stock on those always seems short. Ordered the rancher tan and gtl in blue. Like the gtl but the velvety touch on the rancher is fantastic. Wife wants one when her scotty gets back from BOS, unless the major leaguer comes back in tan. Love BestGrips!

Thanks! We've been having a hard time keeping the major leaguer in stock. Unfortunate, the tan color stained too easily and we had to drop it. Rancher is a pretty cool grip, though.
