This is going to be contentious

 

However, I’ve found that the majority of Americans have the insane desire, wherever they are on a road with more than 1 lane, is to immediately get into the left hand lane and sit there forever. There’s no moving or reasoning with you. Lane etiquette in the US is dreadful, truly shocking.

 

Oh I must get in this lane as this is how grandpa joe taught me ? And the only time you move is either 100yards before you have to turn right at an upcoming exit on a highway, or if on a normal road you have to turn left in the next 1000 miles ?

 

And woh betide you if you beep in Texas, Texans don’t like this, height of bad manners :)

We have good speed limit. I hate it when I get stuck behind WA drivers or CA drivers “bombing” at 75 and thinking their going left lane speeds when the speed limit is 80. Oy vey!

Prius. ALWAYS a Prius... maybe just cause there’s so many of them here in So Cal. I’m convinced they are the reason traffic is so bad on the 405... I envision an overhead shot of the inevitable SoCal freeway holdup, and its 4 Prius’ all doing the same speed with nothing but pavement in front.

 

Don’t be offended if you drive a Prius, just get out of the way.
