Bushnell v3 vs Nikon coolshot 20

Hi everyone

I have been debating these two devices for some time. I currently have the v2 slope but it is eating up batteries pretty fast and the battery closure is all smoothed out, due to an unfortunate incident, so I tape it on to keep the battery there.

I am able to purchase both the Bushnell v3 standard and Nikon coolshot 20 for the same price. I have read the differences but want to see if you guys can provide input in which model you would choose or have chosen.

I own a V2 and have been keeping my eyes out for a Coolshot 20 I can try out in person. My thinking is, it might just about be small enough to carry in my pocket. It is noticeably lighter and smaller than the V2/V3 according to the spec sheet.

If I could routinely pocket the Coolshot 20 I'd buy one in a heartbeat. I'll occasionally stick my Tour V2 in my right front pocket for a couple minutes but it always drives me crazy and makes my pants want to slide around from the weight.

I have a Bushnell Z6 and the Nikon 20. I got the Nikon 20 because Golf Galaxy had a super sale on them for a week last year so I bought. I got it because of the very small size making it easy to carry. Its a good unit but I switched back to the Z6. Up to about 180 yards both units perform basically the same. Further out (200 yards and beyond) I noticed the Nikon is very slow to give a yardage. It is still accurate like the Z6 but the speed is dismal. The Z6 is pretty much instant out to any distance it can read. For the price the Nikon 20 is a good unit - just realize at further distances it can be sluggish.

Thanks. There isn't much detailed user feedback like this out there for the Coolshot 20. Very helpful info.
