Had my driver lesson today....

Well, I had my driver lesson today with a local PGA pro. I took introductory lesson with him few months ago, and it really helped me with my game a lot. I went to take a lesson shooting in 60s on 9 holes, 2 weeks later, I am shooting in 40s. I am very happy with the progress and keep working on things that he showed me. I recently purchased a Cleveland HiBore driver from forum member here. I love the driver but everytime I would hit it, I would kill the ball and it would have a monster slice. So I decided to go back to my teacher and take short, half an hour driver lesson so he can show me the basics with the club.

 

We adjusted few things and at first, he had me hitting it with nice, smooth slow swing while having both of my feet together. Then we moved my feet more and more apart in my stance. Before the lesson was over, I was hitting them nice and straight. Didn't bomb them 300 yards, but that's ok since I am more into being accurate than hitting it really long and hoping for the best.

 

In any rate, I can't wait to go to the range and practice. I am little beat and I will take few days off from golfing since yesterday was my 10 days straight day of playing golf. I am BEAT.

 

In couple weeks I have "short game" lesson with him which I am looking forward to. Next month, I am playing in a charity event at my local course, which will be awesome since I never played in anything like that before, so I am looking forward to it.

 

This game is unbelivable and I can't get enough of it. Not sure how much longer my bank account can handle this kind of abuse but I don't care! lol

 

Anyways, I thought I would spread the joy Those lessons are really paying off big time and I am glad I didn't opt out for buying expensive clubs and skipping the lessons. I still got my 250/set affinity clubs which treat me good so far :cheesy:
