Ping G2 vs King Cobra 460SZ vs Cleveland 460 Comp

Looking for experiences, suggestions and recommendations from people who've played all three drivers. Also, now that the next generation of drivers are out, what are the average prices for these clubs. Have the prices dropped yet?

Of the 3 I would chose the 460Comp...

The G2 is not workable..lazy fades all day and no feel. I just hit a 460SZ at the range a few minutes ago, the guy is next stall had one..typical annoying sound from cobra but the head is not HOT feeling. The comp460 is neutral feeling very forgiving and decent distance. You must also consider the Bridgestone 460 J33R... hotter face and more forgiving then the comp for me.. My favorite driver right now is FT-3.

Cleveland Comp- High draws, good feel, ok distance, and looks beautiful.

Ping G2- Very High and straight, good distance, good looks (Ping and good looks is an oxymoron), and ok feel

Cobra 460SZ- High Draws (lots of draw), Very good distance, ugly, and unique sound.

I choose the Comp just because it is so gorgeous!

Good thread, rosskoss! I'm in the market for a more modern driver myself, and would appreciate any feedback on the older Launcher 460 and R5 Dual, as well as the smaller SZ 400/440 Cobras. Although, if the Cobras tend to draw, then I might not want to go there as that's my natural shape anyway.

My HipSteel has a small head when compared to modern drivers, but feels softer than the Ti ones I've tried when middled. Do any of the latest drivers have that feeling like the ball stays on the face a fraction longer, rather than being rebounded out there in an instant? I'm a mid-h'cap player, but feel like my HipSteel allows me to "steer" my drives somewhat - no bad thing, IMHO. I just need a little more forgiveness for when I don't hit the centre of the clubface.
