Portable launch monitor for driving range?

My sight seems to get worse as time progresses. I can't see where the balls lands after about 150 yards.

I would like a simple launch monitor that I can take to the range to work on my golf swing.

 

Is there a launch monitor with:

Club speed

Launch angle

Maximum height

Ball speed

Spin rate

Carry distance

Ball tracer (would be nice but must)

That would pair with an iPad without breaking the bank?

Yes, Flightscope XI+, and about $5K unless they have dropped the price.

For $500, the Flightscope MEVO comes close (everything you listed except the shot tracer). Height and carry distance will be estimates. MEVO does take video of your swing, and will super-impose shot data over your video playback. The app is for iPhone, but I have heard the iPad has a setting that would allow use of the app on iPad. Also, MEVO does NOT measure side spin (lateral dispersion).

 

The biggest controversy about the MEVO is spin measurements. The official word from Flightscope is you need metallic stickers to accurately measure spin, and without the stickers, spin will only be estimated. (Obviously, the application of stickers to range balls may be frowned upon in certain establishments!) Regardless of whether stickers are used or not, the unit is clearly dependent on input of the correct club being used.

 

Some users report the unit showing a nonsensical spin rate. That has happened to me on less than five shots since I owned the unit (out of hundreds of shots) and in all cases, stickers were not used at the time.
