Ping G400 Driver Question

I was looking on eBay this evening and noticed that quite a few of the Ping G400 drivers have either the "P" or the "G" on the bottom of the club in white paintfill? Some are all black fill. Does anyone know the significance of This? Doesn't seem to make a dif if it's an LST or SFT? Anyone know why?

I saw those too. They have both LH and RH heads with markings like that. They are being sold from 2nd Swing so I don't know where or how they would have acquired them with those markings.

Maybe that's it??? I did see another that had a white P and wasn't for sale by 2nd swing, but maybe 2nd swing was where the seller originally purchased the driver?? Good eye! Was driving me crazy!

Could be a way for them to get around the blue and yellow colum pricing. Remove some of the paintfill and call it *mint* or used instead of new and being held to pings pricing standards

My G400 was a custom order from Ping. All black letters on the sole on mine.
