Anyone have any real world experience with this line of clothing? I can't really find any reviews online...

 

And I'm in love with this hat:

And the rest of the clothing is priced right for my budget and the styles are also appealing to me.

 

I'll probably get some either way - just curious if anyone has tried it. I'm hoping to move on and upwards from cheap big box $25 polos but I have no interest in paying $70-$90 for golf polos either as some brands seem to charge. $50 or so is much more my speed.

I actually didn't know that - nor did I know that I had an Academy Sports near me. It looks like they don't have the Arnold Palmer Apparel in stock at the one near me - thanks!

seems odd they wouldnt place a small discrete umbrella on the chest of the golf shirts. would give the shirts all the flair they need instead of just looking like generic dry fit shirts.

The ones I have seen have had the umbrella logo on the back below the collar.

3balls.com has some AP apparel. I picked up a belt with the umbrella logo on it a few months back.

For the price, they're a great value. We (BogeyboxGolfClub.com) started carrying them as a brand last winter. We started with bottoms, polos, and outerwear. The feedback we continue to get from members is that the quality is great for their price points. For context, they're offering a more affordable price point because their distributor has vertically-integrated manufacturing. It's certainly worth a try!

So - Academy was running a sale on these - I don't know if they are clearing out old inventory or what's happening - but the shirts were only $20 - which is a freaking steal.

 

I got a Suntree in the blue. I only got one because I wanted to make sure a Medium fit me - it does (I'm 6'2" and skinny and often have to get Medium Talls and/or some sort of slim fit) - and it fits pretty well - the sleeves are short and light and the material itself feels smooth while the shirt itself is long enough for me to tuck in.

 

The material is nice and stretchy and I like the umbrella detail below the back collar. It feels good wearing it and the construction looks solid. Again I'm not fully versed in how super premium golf shirts feel.

 

It's supposed to be 63 and Sunny in STL next week - on my birthday - so I'm hoping to get out and see how it feels on the course (and then see how it washes) - but on first blush I'm happy.
