Golf Buddy GPS

Is there any experience out there on the Golf Buddy GPS unit? I tried searching this with no results.

This ain't exactly experience but... I have a friend who bought one a couple of weeks ago and he still likes it. I have not yet had the opportunity to compare yardages against my SkyCaddie which would be important since the biggest complaint about SkyCaddies is that two of them side by side are likely to show different yardages. It ain't a lot of good to have one show 140 yards to the front of the green and another show 150 yards when you're really at about 160 yards.

My friend's dad just bought one. He really likes it. I can't try it out becuse he lives lives in CA. while I'm in CT., but would also like to hear others findings on this unit compared to others.

I'm interested in this too. I posted earlier debating whether to return this for a sky caddie or return it and get something else completely.
Haven't heard much about the golfbuddy, so not sure if it would do any good to return it for the sky caddie.

I had one, until I forgot it in the cup holder of my cart while at the TPC Scottsdale Stadium course (I know, my own damn fault). Scumbag golf attendants never turned it in. It is probably on craigslist by now. I had used it for over 3 years and loved it. The best thing about it was its' size. It fit perfectly in my rear pocket and was not even noticeable - no having to put it on the ground once you had your number. I found it to be accurate enough for me. I could get 2 rounds of golf on one charge. The only thing I wish they would have done is to use a mini usb jack instead of the dedicated one they have. If you lose your recharge/USB chord you would have to order another from them.

Now I have to order another one. Good luck in your search.
