Long Cove

I'm going to be down in HHI July 6 - July 13 and was wondering if anyone knows the best way to get on Long Cove? I've been going down to HHI since a kid and have played most everything there is to play in the area but have never played Long Cove. My parents have a place in Sea Pines so I'm super excited to get back East to play golf with my Dad that week.

 

Any thoughts? I know some clubs are nice if you just put in a call, others need reciprocals (which we don't have any memberships at the moment because Scottsdale clubs are SO EXPENSIVE and my dad doesn't play enough golf anymore)... anyone have experience with attempting to get on Long Cove?

Looks like we found a connection and are getting on Long Cove. Also playing Haig Point that week. Should be fun!.

VERY jealous. I have walked Long Cove when they host the Darius Rucker event, but never played it. Enjoy! Report back what you think about Haig Point. We have not yet made the trip over, but I would love to this fall when we get back down.

So my wife wants to head to Charleston for a day/night in the middle of the week. So we decided to bail on the Haig Point idea since thats another day trip. We are replacing it with Harbor Town. Our lineup is going to be:

 

Long Cove, Atlantic Dunes or Heron Point, and Harbor Town. My parents are Sea Pines residents so they get discounted rates on the Sea Pines courses. It makes Atlantic Dunes/Heron Point a bit of a no brainer and it puts Harbor Town into a more justifiable range. Should be a super fun week. I'm looking forward to it.

 

Then I have to fly from HHI to Charlotte for a long week of work before heading back to Phoenix.
