SuperStroke Traxion Tour Grips (for irons, drivers, wedges)

Anyone try these grips out? Judging by SuperStroke's description of them, they seem to be similar to GP's MCC plus 4. Could they be a nice cheaper alternative to the GolfPrides. Any feedback would be great.

I'm trying them out on my clubs. They are not anything like New Decades. The Traxions are a rubber underlayment with the SuperStroke Traxion material over top, similar to their putter grips. Back in the day Winn made an XF "extra firm" grip that these remind me of quite a bit.

While nowhere near as squishy as a standard Dri-Tac Winn grip, these still have some give that I'm having to get used to. They are very comfortable and have great tack, but after years of playing with rubber and cord grips these definitely have a different club feel. I've played three rounds since install, so I don't think it's fair to say whether these are good or bad yet - just very different from what I was playing before. They are taking some getting used to.

I just shafted my driver up with one this am. Its supposed to have a reminder/spine and a reduced taper. After putting on 2 wraps of build up then grip tape I can barely feel a spine and I guess the seam down the back is supposed to be it? Its not as noticeable as my velvets with a reminder. I also feel it has more taper than a NDMC +4 too. I'm an cross-line or tour velvet player to like Booth said it feels VERY different. Not bad just different. I'll get it out tomorrow for league and see how it goes swinging and in Florida heat/humidity.

Agree that the "reminder" is pretty much non-existent. It's just where the seam is at the back, but you can't really feel it like with a ribbed grip.

I just put these on my irons after a short stint with lamkin sonars.

The superstrokes feel nice, tacky and not too squishy and when I hit a good shot these feel better than the lamkins to me.

I agree the reminder is sort of non existent and I think that is ok with me as i never used a grip with one before.

I like a soft grip and I thought at first the lamkins were soft but after 3 weeks they didnt feel so great to me so I grabbed the deal on these and so far I am liking the change!
