Please help me with my swing. It looks like I lost spine angle during the downswing cause my right shoulder turned out and also I didn't hold my wrist long enough to creat lag. Any advice or comment is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Slightly OT

May I ask why you have regular shafts in your driver and 3 wood and stiff shafts in your hybrid and irons :man_in_love:

I saw the same thing...maybe tipping of some sort?

Who knows though... could push out better numbers. I've seen weirder things.

Just a couple of things.

Ball is too far back in your stance you could be push it more centre of your stance.

Backswing is too much on the inside. If you look at any pro's golf swing there backswing never gets on the inside.

Shoulders are too square at impact and you could also work on clearing your left side a bit more through impact again look at any tour pro and notice the clearence that they get through the impact area.

It looks as though you're not quite turning behind the ball. If you don't get behind the ball, it's hard to clear your hips through the downswing in order to create space to swing from the inside, as well as making it hard to maintain lag. I would try thinking of turning into your right side a little more on the backswing, as well as moving the ball to the center of your stance.

the very first thing I thought when I saw you swing was "this guy has got to be a tiger fan. your arm positions, dip from the top, and follow through are all very reminiscent of tiger.

although you could stand to take the club back a bit more to the outside (in the down the line view, the club head should stay to the right of the hands), the main thing I think you can work on is your sequencing. from the top, you start with your shoulders, as opposed to leading the swing with the hips. your actually leading all the way with the shoulders, and the hips are actually following.

this move down from the top with the shoulders is forcing your club to come out slightly, causing a bit of an OTT move.

since your swing reminds me of tiger so much, I'll use him as my example. if you take a look at his swing (via youtube, preferably some swing-vision action) you'll see that in his finish position his hips are thrust forward, the reaction of his weight shift along with the clearing of the hips. you'll also see that throughout his down and through swing, his hips lead everything. now, thats not to say that you should let your shoulders and everything else "stay behind". everything should uncoil together, but the hips should lead off the show.

note; your are starting with a slight lateral hip movement, which is good. I'm not talking about lateral movement, but wrather the turning, opening, and clearing of the hips.

Swing looks pretty good to me and I'm no teacher but,,,,,,,

"Create lag" - I kind of noticed this in the "face on" before I (re-)noticed you saying it.

I paused you at address and between the 3rd and 4th "Fwd" of the video your hands appearing going back faster than your clubhead.

At the 4th "Fwd" as the clubhead is at the back rope - you should have already created a good bit of rotation of your wrists and already have the beginning of that lag angle. You have NONE at this point. The mind kind of makes the body imitate on the foreswing the reverse moves you made on the backswing.

What iron are you swinging ? Looks like a 6 or 7. If so, you shouldn't be at parallel at the top. Too much rotation for a club that needs precision. Also, you appear to be too tall at the top and if you notice the top of your cap at the top and then follow it you will see the "Tiger dip". Do you hit some irons fat ?

"Down the line" - Pretty good (and consistent) swing plane but the shaft on the backswing is pointing ever so slightly outside of the ball. At the top it is pointing to the right of your target line, usually an indication of an inside out downswing (i.e. NOT over the top) but then, upon coming down the club again points (altough a bit less than the backswing) outside the ball again. This IS an "over the top" position and sure enough it looks as though you've pulled the ball to the left of your targets.

Swing plane - on the backswing (hands hip high) the shaft of the club should point DIRECTLY at the ball. At the opt the shaft should point DIRECTLY parallel to the target line and on the downswing (again, hands about hip high) the shaft should again be poiting DIRECTLY at the ball. THAT swing is then on plane.
