GPS Watch with target distances (not just green)

Looking to get a GPS watch, but I want to find one that can tell me distances to various targets as well as the front/middle/back of greens. Water start/end, where the dogleg starts and ends, etc. Being able to set those targets myself would also be essential, but I am willing to do so from an app/computer rather than setting them on the watch itself (though that would be perfection).

Garmin s60 can do that - although trying to pick a specific spot on a small touch screen with a big finger can be a bit awkward. Personally I don't use it all that often - mostly just on blind distances - otherwise a laser is generally better.

 

I first thought the s40 might have the same functionality but it doesn't seem to based on the Garmin specs comparison (no "Touch-targeting")

Almost all Garmin watches/devices have a menu that tells you from your location, front/middle/black, distance to 100/150/200/250 for layups, middle of dogleg, front & back of hazards/traps.

My X10 does all that. Just have to do a couple swipes. You will need a bigger device to do the finger drop "here" (like a phone with GPS (Lots of golf apps like Golf GPS, Hole 19, even Garmin has an App, or you can get a separate handheld garmin device). My watch, in combination with laser for those targets, is a great combination. Scan the treeline for distances and I have a good idea how much room for runout, or the tree at the bend.

Might want to look at th garmin g30. Really small and can do what you want. Not a watch though.
