Fujikura Evo IV vs KK XT

On the search for a 3w shaft and think I need to go to a more low/low profile. I have tried most of the “blue” profiles which are more mid mid and they just launch and spin too much. I have an Evo IV 661x tipped 1” in my driver so went with an Evo IV 757x in my 3w but it launches a little high for me. How would the KK XT 70tx compare to the Evo IV 757x?

The Evo IV was definitely a bit of a departure from the standard Fuji 757 formula which is a classic mid/mid "Blue" profile. As the Evo shafts went forward, the butt sections got a bit softer and then with the Evo IV they basically grabbed what was going on with the Motore x.2 Speeder in the bottom section, which is a bump in stiffness in the upper tip/lower mid section. The typical 757/Blue profile stays nice and smooth in that area which normally what gives that extra bit of launch and spin, but the Evo IV firms up right there which would probably bring launch and spin down a touch if your swing loads it enough for there to be a difference.

 

The KK XT is still fairly divergent with a softer butt section and noticeably stiffer mid section though, so from a feel standpoint they will definitely be different, particularly in that mid section.
