Got a few new addtitions

Changed up a few things. Went to an 8.5* BurnerTP and put a TP 83g Blueboard in it at 44.75". I picked up a BurnerTP 13* to replace my R7TP 3W. I bought a 200Steel tour off Ebay and yanked the shaft. Sent it to VictoryCustomGolf where Ken already had the 3iron put together. He matched the swingweights of the 2 clubs and the CPM's. It's got a Nippon NS950 in it. The 3iron is the new MC 102 with an NS 1050 in it.

Irons are the same, CB201's with NS1050's. They have been delofted to a 25.5* 5iron and a 45.5* PW. I added the 60* Spin Mill and the 56* Proto has been delofted to 55*.

Boy, You really went full board custom now.
Haw are the new additions do? Hve you try them out yet? I always like the steel shaft in my 3 wood also.

I got out for a little while this afternoon but it was like 27* out. Greens were frozen so I just hit a bunch of tee shots with the driver-3iron on several holes. I like them all so far. Driver really has impressed me. I didn't like the 63g Blueboard in my old Superquad nearly as much as the 83g in the Burner. Really feel like I might be able to control this thing, lol. I'd planned on changing the shaft in the 13* but that stock shaft is pretty good. I laid into it hard and only got a tiny draw but just piped. The 17* is a good transition from the irons. I hit several shots, high, low, draw, fade. I hit it 7 or 8 times and in the FW every time. The 3iron is also a good transition. I was actually surprised how far I hit that thing... been a while since I've had a real 3iron. That one I took high and low as well with a few draws and fades. I tried hitting off the bare ground but hit 2 good shots over 200 straight, 3 pulls and one fat off the toe that I think loosened a filling in my back tooth.

What, did you change your name and move to FL? I'm coming to visit. :drinks:

I'd searched forever to find a 4iron for my set to no avail. The 50* was close to the PW and the 5iron had a bit of a gap to the 21* hybrid I had been using. Since the clubs were already 1/2" long and the bounce angles pretty strong, I figued just deloft and skip right over the 4iron. Plus I came up 2yds. short with the 5iron on the par 3 at LOI.... that really threw me off my game, lol. I was really pulling the crap out of everything that day.

When you get a chance, can you post some pics of your shaft (NS PRO 1050), especially around the grip area. If you have any DG S300 or PX shaft laying around and put them side-side that'd be great...umm.... i think i'm asking too much. :cheesy:

but again...IF you get a chance...and IF you can do that ...that'd be great. I searched and searched over and over again for some pics of NS PRO 1050 pics, and no avail. on anywhere. I think it will be good for some guys out there who heard a lot of things about NS pro 1050 shaft, but, as you know, NO one has the shaft in store...at least in NCAL...south bay...area.
