SM 4.5 14 way

So I have the under armour version of the sun mountain 4.5 already but only has 4 dividers. I actually love this bag but with my midsize grips my irons are always tangled up and gets some serious bag chatter as I do like to walk every son often . On top of that I just got the P7TW’s and would like to keep them nice looking for as long as I can. 
 

Just wondering if it’s worth it to swap out to the 14 way version? I’m not sure it will be any better getting clubs in and out but the goal really would be keeping the heads more separated.

You will actually have more chatter by going 14-way if you’re walking or riding as clubs move more freely. With push cart, you get less. I find all the club heads move around together so less chatter.  It’s different story with electric push cart as you often control them to go faster and make hard turns etc.

I tried pretty much every bag. The best one is the one from Bennington. Looks ugly but it does the job except during transport as it needs to sit upright to work. Nothing is perfect.

I have this same problem re: midsized grips on forged blades. Hopefully you get a good answer I can mooch from.

You’re not gonna like it but I picked up some iron head covers for now. Probably end up getting a new bag at some point.

I play jumbo grips and have a much smaller bag with minimal tangle so I'm baffled by your club tangle comment but I'll echo what someone else said, 14 way bags are worse for bag chatter.

In my case it's a 4-way top and none of the dividers extend for more than a few inches, plus the stand foot is tilt-base instead of being exterior, so it stirs the handles up whenever the bag is set down.  I'm using tubes for a short-term solution but it's but perfect.
