Check out my sticks
These are some images of my current starters right now. Just put together a new driver and working on some wedges. So, these are them for now. Let me know what you think. I did the paintfills on everything except the Cameron. I sent that in to the custom shop. It was my birthday gift to myself. How often do you turn 30?

Very nice setup. How do you like the Maltby's? I looked at the MMB's myself, but ultimately decided on the MTF's for a bit more forgiveness.

I love the MMBs. I hit the MTFs and they were fine. I really couldn't tell that much of a difference between the two. I went with the MMBs because they looked better to me.
Nice, I didnt know they made raw maltby wedges. This is in the wrong forum though.
I wasn't sure which forum to post. I thought general golf was fine. Anyway, I rawed the wedges myself. I had the black oxide and soaked them, then sanded, then grinded, then set in salt and peroxide.
What make / color did you use for your lime paint fill? Im looking to do the same thing with my clubs. Enamal, Acrylic, nail polish??? Thanks...
I think I responded to your post in Flat Sticks. But, I used Testors. They don't have a lime green. So, I mixed yellow, green, and white. Start with yellow if you want it to be lighter. Go yellow base, drop of green, drop of white. That should work.
Thanks...Sorry, but I asked this same question in your other post...Disregard the other one...

So something like this...

80% Yellow
10% Green
10% White

or

90% Yellow
5% Green
5% White

Thanks
Kinda hard to say. It was more experiment until I got the color I wanted. I would say 75% yellow, 15% gree, 10% white. But just play with it. I would just say start with yellow. That way you don't have to add more yellow to get it light and then you have too much paint for what you're doing. But, I would stick with testors. I just can't get with nail polish. It looks too shiny for me.
Sorry but one more question. I too have a circa 62 #2 with the gun blue finish. My question is...what did you use to remove the access paint? Nail polish remover? Did it create any of the original finish of the putter to be removed or marked?
I sent the Cameron into the Custom Shop. But I was able to match the color by combining as I listed below. To remove any paint, just use an acetone based product. Nail polish remover works great. Goo be Gone works well. And just plain Acetone is good too.
nice clubs for a 15 handicapper
That's a bit unnecessary. What am I supposed to play? I've been playing for 3 years and went from shooting in the 120s to the mid 80s. I built the set with my two hands. And like most people on this site, I enjoy learning more about the game and sharing with others. In the future, please limit your remarks to me. I have no desire to justify myself, my equipement, or my love of this great game to you.

Innovation Grips. They are out of CA. You can find them on ebay. The lime grips are Sharpro. You can also find them on ebay. The price is a lot better than Golf Pride and the feel good. They last a long time too. But, I change my grips once a month out of just being bored. I just got like five of every color they carry and went to work from there.

How would "newstuff" even know your handicap and I agree that was a uncalled for cheap shot. Not everyone can be a low single digit like him (guessing from his comment)

Those are a little colorful for my taste, but then again they are very cool looking and solid for any golfer.
