Titleist fitting

Anyone have any experience with Titleist fittings at the Manchester Ln facility? I'm getting new sticks next year, always played titleist. Love the look/feel. Wondering if anyone has firsthand experience.

I think they are closed for the winter.  Should start up again in April or May.

I have a friend that did it loved I said good luck getting appointment because Ill bet they're already booked solid for next year Ive tried to book 3 times over last couple years with no luck

Gotcha. Received a nice note back from their staff. They gave me the day/time to call so I guess I'll try my luck that route!

My son has been fitted there several times over the last few years.  Always a great experience although it was better when Alex S was working as a fitter there. 

 

If you do get an appointment make sure you get a wedge fitting.   They have a great short game/wedge area behind the car park and to me the testing of the wedges and seeing how all the different grinds and bounce work off tight lies and rough was worth the whole price.

I went for a full bag fitting at Oceanside last fall.  The wedge area was the last one we did.   It was nirvana, the most immaculate fairways to hit off of, to large greens with multiple pin locations, we hit from 20 yards off the green out to 115--about my PW max.   I could have stayed there all day!

Went three years ago for a wedge fitting (Manchester Lane).  Amazing experience.  My brother, who joined me, summed it up best as we were driving away after “that’s something you should have to win in a sweepstakes, not just be able to schedule.”  Huge improvements to my clubs and technique based on their input.

I called them for a fitting in 2020 and they were going through furloughs and shutdown due to Covid.  2021 will most likely be backed up with backlog and cancelled appointments having priority.  Worth going at some point in your golf life though.
