3 Woods - SIM2 Max vs. "others"

Currently gaming a Titleist 915F....the shaft in it feels very boardy to me, I don't hit this club well, by far my worst club in the set.  Hit some friends 3W's in a sim this weekend and was hitting them so much better.

 

So for fun I went to GG today to see what I could find on the used rack.  I found an M6 with stock stiff shaft (6.0), also found a SIM Max (previous gen) with TENSEI Blue 70g, and a Callaway Epic with Even Flow riptide 6.0 70g, and then also hit a new SIM2 MAX 3W with same TESNEI Blue as the previous gen.

 

The M6, SIM Max (previous gen), and Callaway EPIC were all about the same when it came to the numbers.  Very similar ball speeds and carry yardages, some slight variations in the spin numbers.  Main differences in these 3 clubs was the look and feel/sound at impact.  The SIM2 Max was another story, consistently about 9-10 mph more ball speed, and lower spin.  Obviously this = more yardage.  This actually shocked me, I was surprised it would be that much better.

 

I hit 10 balls with each club, in sets of 5...throwing out any REAL bad strikes with all of them, until I got to 10 "average" strikes".  So it wasn't that I hit one after being warmed up and others earlier etc, I rotated them around a lot.

 

Curious if anyone else has hit the SIM2 MAX 3W yet and had similar experiences?

I just purchased the Cobra RADSPEED hybrid and love it.  However, got in the simulator Sunday with the new TM SIM2 Max hybrid with Ventus Blue and Wow!!  I love the Tensei Blue in my fairways/super hybrid...great shaft. 

 

Not to throw it in a different direction, but these guys seem to be very adept with their reviews.  I was searching for a hybrid and found this review.  It's less than 10 minutes and might give you another option.  Good luck!

Thanks for pointing me in this direction.  A friend of mine recently took his gamer 3W to Club Champion, and got fit for shaft only and came out with a Fujikura Motore X5.  I hit that club and I loved the way the shaft felt.  So, I took a look at the Cobra RAD Speed you suggested and I see that's a stock shaft option.  The shaft alone is a $280 dollar shaft, but in the Cobra it's 280 total for the club??  This seems too good to be true?  I am going to head to PGA store today or tomorrow to hit this thing.
