Update of plans for 2008

my plans and getting ready for pro golf in 2009

Hello all, well I havent posted in quite a while now I guess I was just lazy to type anything. Well, anyways all I want to do is just give an update on my new plans for 2008 and some plans for 2009, since I haven't described how things have been going for quite some time now. So im gonna make 2008 as my "preparation year" to get me prepared for the life of journeyman mini tour pro golf in 2009. I will also take advantage of this year as being my last year as a junior so I'll play in a bunch of junior events and as many amateur events too, and probably 3 or 4 monday qualifiers for the Canadian Tour. I wont be overdoing it with those events too much though mainly because the main emphasis will be on paying for my big move in 2009. So I'm hoping my family will buy me a nice van this march of 08 and preferably one where I can put a bed in, which enough room below to store all the stuff I need, a small fridge, laptop, fan, just all the goods. So if I can be fortunate enough to have a vehicle with all those goods like that, then the plan will be in 2009 to go play the full schedule on the Dakotas Tour, which is only 2 months long, but has great payouts for such a short season and should be a great place to gain some solid experience, as that will be my main concern for my first year as a pro. And then beyond that is still unclear, but the Hooters Tour and possibly the Tarheel Tour could quite possibly be an option for the remainder of 2009 and the 2010 season. But I also can't forget my main goal is that I need to get into Q-school no later than 2012, preferably 2011. Other than that, I'm just gonna do my best to make 2008 a year in which I can enter 2009 feeling like my big jump to pro golf is a smart decision and that im as ready for it as possible. Had a buddy of mine that is from the Dakotas area and played in some Dakotas tour events and told me about them, they sounded top notch and like you said had great payouts.

I like that your plan is over time and not crammed, like you have to achieve this by this time or else....gives you time to develop and grow without the time crunch pressure.
