Love how super stroke putter grips feel, hate the way they look - suggestions on mods?

I have tried a bunch of other grips and keep coming back to the super stroke XL on my putter...but I truly hate how they look. I know it's silly but I wish I could have a fully black or white grip without any logo. Has anyone tried covering the grip somehow? Wrapping with overgrip is one option but I can't find any tennis overgrip that is long enough and I don't like the texture of the baseball bat stuff. Has anyone tried taking the super stroke outer layer off and replacing it with silicon tubing or something? Or maybe there is a type of paint that won't peel and crack?

I know exactly what you mean, not a fan of their grips for the same reason. Never been motivated enough to try it myself, but tennis racket grip tape or overwrap may be a decent alternative depending on what texture you're looking for.

I took a white/orange midslim 2.0 (stock photo attached)

 

and filled in the white parts with a grey sharpie once to replicate my shoes (attached).  I played it about 9 months but didn’t take a pic before selling it.

I live in Phoenix, and as I recall, the colors didn’t run due to sweat.  Doesn’t rain much here, so can’t vouch for that.  It did change the texture slightly from the normal superstroke slightly soft/slightly tacky to a little firmer/slicker, but wasn’t unplayable.

 

2nd swing took it in trade no questions asked, so must not have been that bad 😏

I would wrap it with gauze tape. Will give it just that plane look!
