Golf Performance Center (Ridgefield, CT) - Fittings

Does anyone have experience with these guys and their clubfitting service? The shop is a Top 100 fitter, but the price is very steep. I'm going in blind, basing my trip mostly on the previously noted ranking and a very alluring brochure. But I don't actually know anyone who's been there before.

What specifically makes you want to look at getting fit there, is there a specific brand/model you're looking for?

No, nothing exotic or anything like that. I've had some mediocre fitting sessions before at other local places, so expanding my search. I'm a sucker for all the tech, of which they are loaded, and have heard good things about the place in general from a few local pros, but nothing specific about the fitting service. I also like that I'll be able to hit the clubs on grass at the facility.

Did you end up getting fitted here? I'm considering booking a wedge fitting due to them conducting it on grass.

I know the Chris Cote Tour Level Fittings in Portland you'll be able to hit off grass in the spring.

Someone a long time ago on here suggested performance club works which is not far from the area. I have been fitted there and have had a good experience with them. I have heard nothing but bad things about golf performance center and would suggest not going there.

I managed to get a wedge fitting appointment at the Titleist Manchester Lane Facility. Pretty excited, even though I'll be limited to SM9 wedges.

I second chris cote fitting... cant go wrong with them! they also have PXG (separate but only $50 for fitting). Get this first and then Chris Cote fitting to include PXG numbers as well. THE BEST PART.. if you buy the fitted equipment, the fitting is FREE!!!! (excludes PXG)
