Vessel VLS

Hey guys. Any VLS owners have any thoughts to share on this bag? I’m considering grabbing one. Any significant difference between the regular version and the DXR version? I am an avid walker so I am either in my SM 3.5 which is approaching end of life or a Mackenzie. 
 

I am also a bit foggy on their stand base. Is this stand system like the Hoofer, TM, etc where it is internal and everything moves when you deploy the legs?  Or does the entire base move like a Sun Mountain? Just for reference, the Hoofer base drives me nuts so that is why I am asking.

I came from a VLX to a VLC DXR and found the VLC really watered-down in terms of material fit and finish. I guess that's the trade-off for weight reduction.

The biggest plus for me is the larger opening, and the light DXR fabric also makes a difference while carrying. The regular VLS is similar in many ways but has smoother fabric instead of the more textured fabric in the DXR. The double straps are excellent and I didn't have any issues with 14 clubs.

I have my VLS DXR on order.  I have the Player 3 DXR and I really like the DXR fabric.  I like that the VLS DXR has even more of it.  Can't wait to try it out.  Excited for my matching stable of Vessels.  Player 3 for Cart/Push-cart use, VLS for carrying and travel.

I see this is sold out on the vessel site. Anybody know if they’ll be a remodel coming soon for 2024?
